Buying and selling shares and bonds

This is simple and easy to do:

  • Local orders will be processed through our stockbrokers during the trading session on the day the order is received.
  • Orders on international stock exchanges will be processed within minutes of receiving instructions.
  • You will receive a contract note by mail containing full details of the deal and charges.
  • Settlement through your HSBC account will be made 3 working days later.
  • If you bank elsewhere, you can still use our services by providing a banker’s draft for the full cost of the transaction.
