What you need to know

  • The application should take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
  • If you log on to your Personal Internet Banking and apply for a credit card limit up to €1000, your classic credit card online application may be processed without the need for you to visit a branch. After submitting the application, you will receive a secure message in your Personal Internet Banking advising you the status of your request.
  • If you complete a “Contact Us” request, you will be contacted by your preferred branch within two working days.
  • The online offer (fee free card for the first year) only applies for classic credit card applications submitted through Personal Internet Banking. This offer does not apply if you request an appointment through the “Contact Us” online application.
  • You must be over 18 years old.

Debit / Credit Card Transaction Dispute Form

If you wish to dispute a transaction on your HSBC debit / credit card, download the dispute form, complete it and mail it back to us together with all documentary proof (as listed in the dispute form) in support of your claim.

Please note that the dispute form consists of 3 pages. Page number 1 is to be filled in with your personal information. Secondly you will have to fill in either page 2 or page 3. We advise you to go through all the form, check all the dispute reasons and identify the one that best fits your case. Ensure you include your transaction details and signature on the page you ticked (The other page should be left blank)

Kindly ensure that all completed forms along with the required supporting documentary proof should reach us no later than 60 days from the date of the disputed transactions to enable us to proceed with the dispute resolution. Failure to do so may result in you being denied the right to or delay the recovery of the disputed transaction(s) amount(s).

For data security purposes please make sure that the personal contact information you provide on the dispute form matches the information in our records. In case the provided information differs we would use that listed in our records. In this regard, please ensure that you contact us at your earliest convenience to update your personal records to avoid possible delays.
