HR Operations Manager

HSBC is seeking a high calibre individual to join our Human Resources function as an HR Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be leading the HR Operations Team responsible for payroll, staff benefits, management information, HR Contact Centre and report to the Head of HR Operations, Performance and Reward.

Principal Accountabilities include:

  • Lead and manage the HR Operations and Workforce Administration Team
  • Support the Head of HR Operations, Performance and Reward on the delivery of the benefits and reward agenda, including benefits, performance management, recognition and strategic projects for HBMT
  • Work with business stake-holders, Human Resources Advisory and Group Performance and Reward counterparts to ensure that benefits and reward policies support business aims whilst remaining effective, compliant and competitive in the industry
  • Support the review of existing benefit programmes, including the provision of advice and critical challenge on benefit design, to the Head of Performance and Reward
  • Generate management information reports and communications for benefits, recognition and reward metrics to audiences which may include senior internal stake-holders and regulatory bodies
  • Co-coordinate data requests for Group Benefit led initiatives that require liaison within the International HR Team
  • Help manage insured benefit renewals and representing HBMT
  • Monitor legislative changes and implement the necessary updates
  • Act as first point of contact or first filter for performance management and recognition queries
  • Execute the effective implementation and monitoring of Risk controls and the timely completion of remediation actions which pertain to benefits, recognition and performance management.

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Possess strong knowledge in Compensation and Benefits with a strong analytics and statistical background
  • Communicate effectively and possess stake-holder management skills
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to learn different HR Platforms
  • Be able to effectively prioritise workload
  • Be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications including advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Be a proficient user of Payroll Systems
  • Possess a high level of drive, commitment and data accuracy
  • Strong people management skills
  • Have a bachelor degree or equivalent diploma in HR or Business Administration
  • Experience in employee benefits is highly desirable
