How do you apply?

If your business turnover does not exceed €2,000,000 (2 million euro), or business borrowing exigencies do not exceed more than €200,000, and you are interested in opening a Fusion account, you are kindly requested to follow the instructions below:

please complete our online application form – it only takes a few minutes to complete
our Online application will also guide you through our proposition, should you be eligible and interested in applying
we will process your application and contact you to book a short appointment where we will finalise details and provide you with what you need to get going
we will let you know what to bring for the appointment

What you’ll need to apply

Sole Trader:

a valid Maltese ID document of the sole trader (front and back), such as Maltese Identity Card/Residence Card or Maltese Passport. This has to be valid & unexpired. In the case of a Maltese passport, address validation document is also required
VAT Certificate/receipt or Warrant
a signed copy of your latest profit and loss statement

If you are an existing HSBC Malta personal customer and would like to become a Fusion Sole Trader customer, apply online.

If everything is in order, you will then receive a call from a Fusion Specialist to attend a short appointment at your preferred branch.

Other documentation may be required, in which case we will let you know.

If you are not an existing HSBC Malta personal customer and would like to become a Fusion Sole Trader customer, or you would like to discuss the HSBC Fusion service in person at one of our branches, you can request an appointment.

Company:

a valid Maltese ID document of all connected parties (front and back), such as Maltese Identity Card/Residence Card or Maltese Passport. This has to be valid & unexpired. In the case of a Maltese passport, address validation document is also required
Business plan and Projections if company was set up in the last 12 months, otherwise the last Audited Accounts
Ownership Structure chart, dated and signed by the legal representative/s

If everything is in order, you will then receive a call from a Fusion manager to attend a short appointment at your preferred branch.

Other documentation may be required, in which case we will let you know.

Unregistered Partnership:

a valid Maltese ID document of all the partners (front and back), such as Maltese Identity Card/Residence Card or Maltese Passport. This has to be valid & unexpired. In the case of a Maltese passport, address validation document is also required
VAT Certificate/receipt or Warrant
Ownership Structure chart, dated and signed by the partners
Business plan and Projections if partnership was set up in the last 12 months, otherwise the last Profit & Loss
Partnership Agreement signed by a Notary

If everything is in order, you will then receive a call from a Fusion manager to attend a short appointment at your preferred branch.
