Accessibility statement
This statement applies to: https://www.hsbc.com.mt.
HSBC is committed to making its public website usable by everyone. We're actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our digital services and, in doing so, endeavour to adhere to a minimum ‘AA’ level of the W3C’s (World Wide Web Consortium’s) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 and to the POUR principles (Perceivable, Operational, Understandable and Robust). We also conduct regular user testing with diverse groups of users, covering all needs.
On our public website, you should be able to:
- Navigate the website using a keyboard or other input device
- Navigate using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, voice control, and magnification software
- Resize text up to 200% and zoom up to 400%
- Consume multimedia content with captions
While we endeavour to be as accessible as possible, we are aware that you might encounter some difficulties due to:
- Duplication of heading levels
- Some of the focus indicators offering poor colour contrast
- Not all PDF documents are compliant against the latest document standards
This statement was last updated on 27 August 2025 based on audits completed in August 2025.
