Mobile banking

Bank on the go with the HSBC Mobile Banking app for iPhone®, iPad® and AndroidTM. It lets you manage your personal accounts easily and securely from your mobile phone.

  • View your account balances
  • View up to the last 20 transactions on your accounts up to a maximum of 90 days
  • Make transfers between your HSBC bank accounts and credit cards in Malta
  • Get SMS alerts on your mobile phone when certain transactions take place on your selected accounts
    The SMS Alerts service is offered free of charge and offers a series of security and account information alerts. You may register for this service by accessing 'Mobile services' from the 'Personal online banking' navigation menu.
  • You can log on to mobile banking using your face or finger print
  • Pay bills to payees that you have previously paid using online banking
  • Send, read or delete your secure messages
  • Register for mobile top up and avoid running out of credit again

Log on to online banking to set up your password for mobile banking.

Download the app

Download from the HSBC Mobile Banking app from the App StoreTM or Google PlayTM.

 

Log on to the app and enjoy.

Telephone banking

Start using our phone banking service today:

  • Quick access to up-to-date balances and other financial information
  • Set up standing instructions and term deposit accounts
  • Conduct transactions and bill payments over the phone
  • No security questions

Eligibility

All applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply for this service.

What you need to know

Your application will be processed within 2 working days. Your phone banking card and PIN will be sent to you by mail.

Information you will need your:

  • personal details example name, date of birth and telephone number
  • ID card number or passport number
  • e-mail address (if available)

ATM and deposit machines

  • ATMs
    Our 79 ATMs spread around Malta and Gozo offer you the convenience of withdrawing cash. Also one can deposit cheques or cash without the use of an envelope.
  • Coin exchange machine
    This is the easiest and fastest way to change any bank notes to loose coins. A service which is available from our machines in Sliema.
  • Deposit machines
    A convenient way to deposit cheques or cash via our machines. All you need is an HSBC card and a paying-in slip.
  • Speech functionality on our ATMs and enlarged fonts
