Unlock the value of your home

Most probably your home is the biggest investment you have ever made. If you have owned your property for a long time, it is likely that your home is now worth much more than the outstanding balance of your home loan. The difference between the value of your home and the outstanding balance of your home loan is known as the equity.

With a HomeOwner Loan you can use the equity in your property as security for a loan that would be repayable over a longer term and at a lower interest rate than a normal personal loan. For higher loan amounts you therefore have the option of taking a HomeOwner Loan and benefitting from lower monthly repayments.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a HomeOwner Loan you must be an existing HSBC customer, be owning your own home, and satisfy income and other criteria.

Special online offer

You can benefit from a 25% discount on normal processing fees if you apply for a HomeOwner Loan after having obtained an Online HomeOwner Loan Quotation.

Loan amount

The maximum loan amount will depend on the level of your income, the value of your property and the outstanding balance of any loan that you might still have on your home.
